PAC Wrestler of the Week

Peyton Hearn • Thiel • Senior • Conneaut, Pa. | Conneaut Area Hearn helped the Tomcats go 4-1 overall and 1-0 in PAC action last week with a 5-0 record … On Tuesday, he defeated Nicholas Montalbano by major decision (10-1) to help the Tomcats secure a 43-10 PAC win over W&J … Hearn went 4-0 Saturday at the Dr. Si Ostrach Duals, hosted by Case Western Reserve … At 149, he won by technical fall (20-2) over Albion’s Max Honiss … He also defeated Adrian’s Blaise Kokkales by technical fall (18-0) … Hearn won by major decision (9-1) over Penn’s Noah Hunt before pinning Defiance’s Shamique Bryant in 1:50.

W&J senior Logan Marko (Roaring Spring, Pa. | Central) went 2-0 this past week, starting with a victory by major decision, as he topped Alexander Anderson 17-3 Tuesday in a PAC dual at Thiel … Marko added a 7-1 decision over David Ighani in W&J's match Saturday versus Division II Fairmont State … Waynesburg senior Harley Constable (Smithfield, Pa. | Albert Gallatin) posted a perfect 4-0 day at Saturday's Dr. Si Ostrach Duals, hosted by Case Western Reserve, with a pin, a technical fall and a major decision … His fall came in just 1:06 against an opponent from Adrian … He added an 18-0 technical fall against Penn College, a 10-2 major decision against the host Spartans and a forfeit against Albion..

 

PAC Rookie of the Week

Bryce Rodriguez-Uram • Washington & Jefferson • Freshman • Carnegie, Pa. | Carlynton Rodriguez-Uram won by fall in his lone match of the week … He defeated Austin Brett of Division II Fairmont State Saturday in 4:41 in the 141- pound bout … Rodriguez-Uram is 11-4 this season with eight wins by fall.
