PAC Player of the Week
Luke Barker • Allegheny • Sophomore guard • New Castle, Pa. | Struthers (Ohio)
Barker led all Gators with 24.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in a 2-0 week … Went off for a career-high 32 points and 10 rebounds for his first career double-double in a 90-84 upset over first-place W&J … Made seven three-pointers against W&J, tied for the second-most in a single game in Allegheny history … Barker then netted 16 points with six rebounds in a 78-67 road win over Saint Vincent … Shot 65.4 percent overall (17-26), as well as 56 percent (9-16) from three-point range and 100 percent (5-5) from the foul line last week.

Chatham senior Isaiah Smith (Ambridge, Pa. | Lincoln Park) followed his 18-point effort in win over Saint Vincent with 21 markers on 6-for-7 shooting from the arc in victory over Mount Aloysius … Franciscan graduate student Travis Lien (Kirkwood, Mo. | Kirkwood) posted 26 points/10 rebounds in a narrow loss at Thiel and fired in 24 points and passed out six assists in a win over Pitt-Greensburg … Geneva senior Lyle Tipton (Glenside, Pa. | Phil-Mont Christian Academy) averaged 25.5 points and 5.0 boards in victories over Carnegie Mellon & Waynesburg … Grove City sophomore Chase Yarberough (Lititz, Pa. | Warwick) scored 20 points in 20 minutes and had six rebounds and a pair of steals in the win over Bethany … Saint Vincent graduate student Shemar Bennett (Lauderhill, Fla. | Nova) totaled 25 points, six rebounds and four blocks in non-league win over Penn State Fayette … Thiel junior Marlon Ellerbee (Temple Hills, Md. | Oxon Hill) recorded a career-high 29 points and had four steals in a win over Franciscan … W&J junior J.R. Mazza (Bridgeport, W.Va. | University) finished with team-high 21 points after making 7-of-11 three-point attempts in a narrow loss at Allegheny … Waynesburg junior Antone Baker (Maple Heights, Ohio | Maple Heights) had two double-doubles last week, including 16 points and 12 rebounds in victory at Pitt-Greensburg … Westminster junior Andrew Clark (New Middletown, Ohio | Springfield Local) led the Titans with 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals in a loss at Youngstown State.
 
PAC Rookie of the Week
Ryan Lang • Allegheny • Freshman guard • Sarver, Pa. | Knoch
Lang averaged 20.5 points, 3.0 rebounds & 2.0 assists per game in a pair of PAC wins last week … He scored 22, his second-highest total of the season, on 7-of-13 shooting with four treys in a win over first-place W&J … Then led all Gators with 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting with a trio of three -pointers in the victory at Saint Vincent.

Bethany freshman Cole Dailey (East Liverpool, Ohio | East Liverpool) broke Bethany’s single-game blocked shot record with seven against Grove City and added 11 points and seven boards in the game … Chatham freshman James Thomas (Sharpsville, Pa. | Sharpsville) helped the Cougars to a 2-0 week by making 11-of-16 shots (69 percent) and averaging 12 points, as well as 4.5 rebounds, in the two wins … Franciscan freshman Frank Bellissimo (New Smyrna Beach, Fla. | New Smyrna Beach) dropped 19 points after going 5-of-6 from the arc in a home win over Pitt-Greensburg … He shot 69 percent (11-16) from the floor and 78 percent (7-9) from three-point line in averaging 16.5 points in a 1-1 week for the Barons … Grove City freshman Mike Christenson (Oakton, Va. | Trinity) had two points and a season-high eight rebounds in the win over Bethany … Saint Vincent freshman Jalen Gales (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Bishop Canevin) registered 16 points and eight boards in a win over Penn State Fayette and had the same output against Allegheny … Thiel freshman Elijah Harden (Sharon, Pa. | Kennedy Catholic) scored 16 points in Thiel’s win over Franciscan and also recorded two assists to go along with one block … Westminster freshman Jaxon Hendershott (Salem, Ohio | West Branch) finished with 11 points, his second game this year in double figures, in a loss at Division I Youngstown State.
