PAC Player of the Week

Caden Hinckley • Allegheny • Senior forward • Boise, Idaho | Mt. Lebanon Hinckley logged a pair of double-doubles in a 1-1 week for the Gators … Finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds in both games, a 90-52 win over Bethany and a 66-65 loss at Penn State Behrend … Shot 58.6% (17-for-29) overall from the floor … Added three assists, two steals and one block in the win over Bethany … Has a double-double in four consecutive games and ranks third in PAC in scoring (20.1) and fourth in rebounding (9.8).

Bethany sophomore Chance Wells (Wooster, Ohio | Triway) posted seven points and a team-high six rebounds at Allegheny … Chatham sophomore Isaiah Smith (Ambridge, Pa. | Lincoln Park) averaged 18.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in a 1-1 week … He went for 18 points and seven boards in a win over Geneva … In an 84-82 win over Hilbert, Franciscan graduate student Travis Lien (Kirkwood, Mo. | Kirkwood) had 17 points on 8-of-14 shooting, seven rebounds and three blocks … Senior Isaac Massie (Cross Lanes, W.Va. | Homeschool) scored a career-high 30 points in Geneva's win over Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday, shooting 11-of-18 from the floor, 4-of-7 from three-point range and 4-of-4 from the line … For the week he averaged 17.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists … Grove City sophomore Jonah Bock (Erie, Pa. | McDowell) fired in seven three-point goals in 11 attempts as part of a 23-point night Tuesday at Saint Vincent … Thiel sophomore Ethan Barnes (Boynton Beach, Fla. | Suncoast) recorded a career-high 25 points in the Tomcats’ win over Waynesburg … He shot 11-16 from the field, including 2-5 from beyond the arc … Waynesburg graduate student Matt Popeck (Washington, Pa. | Washington) averaged 18 points and 3.0 rebounds in a pair of games last week, including a game-high 20 against Westminster … Westminster junior Andrew Clark (New Middletown, Ohio | Springfield Local) averaged 19.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals as the Titans split a pair of PAC contests last week … He tallied 22 points and made three steals against W&J.

 

PAC Rookie of the Week

Jaden Gales • Saint Vincent • Freshman forward• Pittsburgh, Pa. | Bishop Canevin Gales led the Bearcats to a 73-62 win over Grove City on Tuesday, as he scored a game- and career-high 32 points, while grabbing 10 rebounds and recording four steals … He made 11-of-22 shots from the field in the victory … The 32 points are the most in a game for a Saint Vincent freshman since three-time NAIA All-American Tony Washam scored 47 on Dec. 1, 2001 at Cedarville … Through his first six career games, Gales is averaging 20.5 points and 9.0 rebounds, while shooting 53 percent from the field.

Allegheny freshman Ryan Lang (Sarver, Pa. | Knoch) averaged 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in a 1-1 week … Tied a season-high with 14 points and handed out a season-high six assists in Bethany win … Bethany freshman Cole Dailey (East Liverpool, Ohio | East Liverpool) scored a team-best 14 points and added four boards and two blocks at Allegheny … Franciscan freshman Frank Bellissimo (New Smyrna Beach, Fla. | New Smyrna Beach) knocked down a pair of threes and finished with nine markers in win over Hilbert … Grove City freshman Chris Suceveanu (Pacific Palisades, Calif. | Loyola) had six points and three rebounds Tuesday at Saint Vincent … Thiel freshman Elijah Harden (Sharon, Pa. | Kennedy Catholic) helped lead the Tomcats to a victory over Waynesburg by going 3-for-4 from the arc and finishing with 12 points … First-year guard Brandon Jakiela (McDonald, Pa. | South Fayette) finished with 12 points and six rebounds in just 14 minutes in 75-68 W&J victory over Westminster Tuesday … Westminster freshman Trey DePietro (Boardman, Ohio | Boardman) averaged 11 points, nine rebounds and 3.5 blocks in a pair of games last week … In the win over Waynesburg, he totaled 13 points, eight boards and six blocks.
