Week 2 PAC Honors (for events between November 7-13)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 2 of the 2022-23 season.
 
PAC Wrestler of the Week
Evan Whiteside • Thiel • Junior • Monroeville, Pa. | Gateway
Whiteside went 4-0 and won the 125-pound bracket at the W&J Invitational on Saturday… The top seed in the bracket, he won his first three matches by fall, including a pair of first period pins… White defeated Penn State Behrend’s Zach Dellinger (0:31), Jamestown Community College’s Deaonte Hutchinson (0:33) and Fairmont State’s Brandan Meyers (4:14)... In the finals, Whiteside edged Lycoming’s Kaden Majcher, the bracket’s No. 3 seed, 13-10.
Other notable performers
W&J sophomore Hunter Swedish (Cranberry Township, Pa. | Seneca Valley) won the 133-pound title at the W&J Invitational… He went 4-0 with a pair of technical falls… Waynesburg senior Harley Constable (Smithfield, Pa. | Albert Gallatin) went 4-2 at 141 pounds at the W&J Invitational.
 
PAC Rookie of the Week
Bryce Rodriguez-Uram • Washington & Jefferson • Freshman • Carnegie, Pa. | Carlynton
Rodriguez-Uram put together a strong collegiate debut Saturday to win the 141-pound title at the W&J Invitational Saturday… After missing out on the action last weekend at Lycoming, Rodriguez-Uram posted four victories, the first three of which came by fall… He defeated Wiley Kahler of Lycoming by a 10-6 score in the title bout at 141 pounds.
Other notable performers
Thiel freshman Landon Mead (Clarendon, Pa. | Sheffield) went 2-2 at 157 pounds at the W&J Invitational.. He won his first two matches by fall… Waynesburg freshman Ryan Bachar (Export, Pa. | Penn-Trafford) went 2-2 with a pin at 157 pounds at the W&J Invitational.
