(pacathletics.org)--Westminster College senior right side Becky Adelman (Randolph, Ohio | Waterloo) and Grove City College freshman libero Mya Lathem (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio | Woodridge) were recently recognized by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) with NCAA Division III South women's volleyball honors for September. Adelman was named the Defensive Player of the Month while Lathem was named the Rookie of the Month. Westminster went 14-4 overall and 6-0 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) in September. Adelman ranked No. 2 in the league with 56 blocks (17-39; 0.89/s) and 235.5 points (3.74/s) last month. She added 79 digs (1.25/s) while hitting .300 (184-53-437). Adelman was named the PAC Offensive Player of the Week Sept. 7. Lathem finished with 266 digs (5.02/s) during Grove City's 15 matches in September. She posted a season-high 35 digs September 22 against Geneva College in a four-set victory. She added 15 service aces. Grove City went 6-2 with Lathem as its starting libero last month. She was named the league’s Rookie of the Week Sept. 27. Westminster (15-4, 7-0 PAC) will travel to Pittsburgh for a PAC tri-match with host Chatham University and Waynesburg University Saturday. Grove City (12-6, 5-2 PAC) will participate in a PAC tri-match Saturday in Greenville with host Thiel College and Washington & Jefferson College.
