Four PAC baseball players named CoSIDA Academic All-District

CoSIDA Academic All-District® Baseball Team Released

GREENWOOD, Ind. (pacathletics.org)--Four Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) players were recognized by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Thursday afternoon as members of this year’s Academic All-District® Baseball Team.

The four PAC players were among the 11 named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District® 4 list, which is comprised of NCAA Division III schools in Pennsylvania.

Recognized were: Thiel College senior catcher Andrew Giesey (Penn, Pa. | Penn-Trafford), Washington & Jefferson College senior pitcher Ben Marsico (Bradford Woods, Pa. | North Allegheny), Waynesburg University senior pitcher Mason Miller (Bethel Park, Pa. | Bethel Park) and Westminster College senior infielder Frank Cinicola (Cranberry Township, Pa. | Seneca Valley). 

CoSIDA’s Academic All-District® Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Honorees named to the Academic All-District® First Team will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. Academic All-America® honorees will be announced from June 8-11.
