PAC Indoor Track & Field Championships Set For Thursday

GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The 2015 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled for Thursday, February 26 at Youngstown State University’s Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS).

Field events are slated to begin at 3 p.m. with track events to start at 4 p.m.

Conference schools sponsoring varsity indoor track and field programs include Bethany College, Geneva College, Grove City College, Saint Vincent College, Thiel College, Thomas More College, Washington & Jefferson College, Waynesburg University and Westminster College.

The 2015 Championships will cap the PAC's first official season with indoor track and field as a championship sport. Unofficial men's and women's league championship events were held in 2013 and 2014 at Youngstown State's WATTS. This results from this year's indoor track and field championships will be included in the 2014-15 PAC All-Sports Trophy competitions.

At the conclusion of Thursday’s championships, the PAC will award trophies to its men’s and women’s team champions, as well as plaques to the men’s and women’s Most Valuable Performers and men’s and women’s Coaches of the Year.

Admission to all PAC Championship events is $5 for adults and $2 for students. There will also be a $5 parking fee for spectators.

The 2015 NCAA® Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held Friday-Saturday, March 13-14 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. The event is being hosted by Roanoke College.
