PAC recognizes 462 on Spring Academic Honor Roll

GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – A total of 462 student-athletes were named to the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2014 semester.

The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition.

The Spring 2014 total represents a nine percent increase in honorees from the Spring 2013 honor roll, which featured 422 student-athletes.

The combined total of student-athletes recognized on the 2013-14 PAC Academic Honor Rolls (441 fall, 462 spring) is 903, 50 more than the previous all-time high of 853, established during the 2012-13 academic year.

Saint Vincent College led the 10 league schools with 65 student-athletes earning PAC Spring 2014 Academic Honor Roll recognition. Waynesburg University was next with 60, followed by Grove City College (57), Washington & Jefferson College (55), Westminster College (55), Thomas More College (49), Geneva College (42), Thiel College (41), Bethany College (21) and Chatham University (17).
