AUSTIN, Tex. (pacathletics.org) – Geneva College sophomore forward Heidi Mann (Colorado Springs, Colo./Evangelical Christian Academy) and Grove City College senior defender Jessica Heck (Canton, Mich./Plymouth) recently earned First Team NCAA Division III Academic All-District honors from Capital One and the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) through voting by the region's sports information directors.

Mann and Heck were two of the 12 student-athletes honored on the Academic All-District Women’s Soccer District 4 team, made up of all Division III women’s soccer programs across Pennsylvania.

Mann appeared in 16 matches (10 starts) for the Golden Tornadoes (6-12-0) in 2013 and finished the regular season seventh in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) in points (17 pts., six goals, five assists). A First Team All-PAC selection in 2012, Mann maintains a 3.96 grade-point average while majoring in elementary mathematics education.

Heck has played in each of Grove City’s (11-8-1) 20 matches this season, including 18 starts. She is a three-year starter for the Wolverines and earned Second Team All-PAC honors in both 2011 and 2012. In the classroom, Heck has compiled a 3.78 cumulative grade-point average while majoring in psychology and business management. She has been named to the conference's Academic Honor Roll and the Dean's List.

As members of the All-District First Team, Mann and Heck will advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
