PAC Releases 2013 All-Conference Women's Soccer Teams

GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) released its 2013 All-PAC Women’s Soccer teams Tuesday.

The 2013 PAC Player of the Year is Washington & Jefferson College senior forward Holly Shipley (Scottdale, Pa./Southmoreland). Shipley also earned PAC Player of the Year honors following the 2011 season.

Shipley finished the 2013 season with a career-high 48 points (20 goals, 8 assists) and finished tied for the league lead in assists and second in goals scored. On the latest NCAA Division III statistical rankings, Shipley ranks 15th in points per game (2.67), 16th in goals per game (1.111) and total goals (20) and 21st in total points (48).

Shipley finished her career with 61 goals after netting a career-high 20 this season. Her 20 goals also set a single-season school record, while her 48 points is also the highest single-season total in school history. W&J Athletic Hall of Famer Nicole Bosley Bednarski '01 is the only other Presidents’ player to score 61 goals during a career.

2013 PAC Coach of the Year honors went to Thomas More College eighth-year head coach Jeff Cummings. The Coach of the Year honor is Cummings second (2011, 2013).
