GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) -- The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) announced its 2018-19 All-PAC Men’s Basketball teams and yearly award winners Tuesday.

The all-conference teams, as well as the PAC's yearly award winners, are determined, by vote, of the league’s nine head coaches.

Saint Vincent College senior forward Tom Kromka (Monroeville, Pa. | Gateway) collected PAC Player of the Year honors. He is the third Saint Vincent player to win the award (2016, Jaylon Bell; 2014, Dillon Stith).

Saint Vincent 16th-year head coach D.P. Harris was selected as the PAC Coach of the Year. The coach of the year award is Harris’ second (2015).

Kromka, a three-time All-PAC First Team selection (2017-19), currently leads the PAC in scoring, averaging 17.1 points per game. He ranks second in the league in rebounding average (8.0), field goal percentage (.570) and blocked shots (50). Kromka’s seven double-doubles this season rank second among PAC counterparts.

Kromka is one of just two PAC players to rank among the league’s top five in both scoring average and rebounding average (James Wells, Grove City).

Kromka scored his 1,000th career point in a February 16 Senior Day victory over this year’s PAC champion, Chatham University. He finished the game with 20 points, four rebounds and four blocks.

An economics major, Kromka was named to this year’s Google Cloud Academic All-District team Feb. 21. He was the lone player selected to represent the PAC.

In six career PAC Championship Tournament games, Kromka averaged 15.8 points and 8.4 rebounds, respectively, while shooting 44.0 percent from the floor.

This season, Harris guided the Bearcats to their fourth top seed in the PAC Championship Tournament in the past five seasons. Saint Vincent finished its season 22-5 overall and 14-2 in the league and concluded the regular season with a perfect 13-0 record at the Robert S. Carey Student Center in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Saint Vincent has claimed four (2013-16) PAC Championship Tournament titles and sports a 71-15 PAC regular season record since the 2014-15 season.

Saint Vincent has posted 20-plus victories in six of its last seven seasons.

Chatham (19-9) and first-year head coach David Richards secured the PAC’s automatic qualifying bid to this year’s NCAA Division III Championship after winning its first-ever PAC Championship Tournament title. Chatham, the No. 4 seed, posted a 64-61 victory over No. 3 Westminster College (13-15) in Saturday night’s title game at the Memorial Field House in New Wilmington, Pa. Chatham will travel to Naperville, Illinois this weekend to take on 15th-ranked North Central College (22-5), winners of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) title, in the opening round. The host Cardinals and Cougars will play at 8:30 p.m. (EST) Friday at Gregory Arena.

Grove City College (15-11), led by 21st-year head coach Steve Lamie, was extended an invitation to this year’s Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championship Monday afternoon. Grove City, the No. 2 seed in Pod 1, will host No. 3 Franciscan University (13-13) in the opening round of the 15-team tournament at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Grove City College Arena.
