All-PAC First Team | All-PAC Second Team | All-PAC Honorable Mention | PAC Sportsmanship Team

GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org)--The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its All-PAC football teams and annual award winners Tuesday. The All-PAC teams and yearly award winners are determined, by vote, of the league’s 10 head coaches.

Grove City College senior running back Wesley Schools (Port Jervis, N.Y. | Port Jervis) earned PAC Offensive Most Valuable Player honors, while PAC Defensive Most Valuable Player honors went to Case Western Reserve University senior defensive end Cameron Brown (Westlake, Ohio | Westlake) for the second-straight year. Bethany College freshman defensive back Dadrick Vickers (Miami Gardens, Fla. | Miami Norland) was selected as the league’s Newcomer of the Year.

Case Western Reserve 16th-year head coach Greg Debaljak was voted the PAC Coach of the Year.

Schools, a four-time All-PAC honoree and two-time First Team selection, is Grove City’s first PAC Player of the Year selection since winning four straight from 1997-2000. R.J. Bowers won three-straight awards from 1998-2000 while Doug Steiner claimed the award in 1997.

This season, Schools currently leads NCAA Division III in rushing touchdowns (25) and ranks third in Division III with 1,625 rushing yards, the fifth-highest single-season total in program history. He has 5,533 career rushing yards, the most among active leaders in Division III and second-most rushing yards in all NCAA divisions (5,634; Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin). His 5,533 rushing yards are the second-most all-time at Grove City.

Schools has 64 career touchdowns, scoring three or more in each of the last five games. He also has nine career games of 200 rushing yards or more.

Brown, a four-time All-PAC selection and three-time First Team honoree, shares the league lead in sacks this season with 10.5, which also rank fourth among CWRU single-season leaders. His 10.5 sacks are tied for 11th among Division III counterparts. Brown also leads the league in forced fumbles this season with six and ranks second in the PAC with 17.5 tackles for loss, which also rank 22nd in Division III. He has totaled 45 tackles (28 solo) in 2019.

Brown owns CWRU’s all-time sacks record with 34.5, which currently rank second among Division III active leaders. His 12 career forced fumbles lead all active Division III players.

Vickers’ seven interceptions lead the PAC and are tied for the second-most in Division III this season. His 11 passes defended are tied for the second-most among league leaders. In nine games this season Vickers totaled 19 tackles (14 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss and a fumble recovery.

Vickers intercepted three passes against Thiel College on Nov. 11, becoming the first Bethany player with three interceptions in a game since Daulton Freeman at Ursinus College on Sept. 3, 2016.

The Coach of the Year citation is Debeljak’s second. He shared the award with Washington & Jefferson College's Mike Sirianni in 2017. Debeljak guided CWRU to an 8-1 conference record in 2019, securing the program’s first-ever outright PAC title and automatic qualifying bid the Division III Championship. It is the program’s second PAC Championship (2017). Case Western Reserve will be making its fifth appearance in the Division III Championship Saturday afternoon at No. 13 Union College.

Debeljak owns a career record of 119-46. Case Western Reserve is 31-10 in PAC games since rejoining the league in 2014.

In addition to CWRU representing the PAC in the Division III Championship, four PAC programs secured invitations to compete in this year’s Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Bowl series this Saturday: Carnegie Mellon University (8-2) will host Brevard College (7-2) of the USA South Athletic Conference (USA South) in the Scotty Whitelaw Bowl at Gesling Stadium; Grove City (8-2) will host Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (6-4) of the Liberty League in the James Lynah Bowl at Robert E. Thorn Field; W&J (7-3) will travel to Ithaca College (8-2) of the Liberty League for the Asa S. Bushnell Bowl at Butterfield Stadium; and Westminster College (7-3) will travel to Morrisville State (6-4) of the Empire 8 for the Clayton Chapman Bowl at Drake Field.

The five teams competing in the postseason is a PAC single-season record.
