GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org)--A record total of 588 student-athletes have been named to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2018 semester.

The Spring 2018 total represents over an 10 percent increase (58) in honorees from the Spring 2017 honor roll, which featured 530 student-athletes, and over a 23 percent increase (125) in honorees from the Spring 2016 honor roll (463). 

The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition. 

Last year, a combined total of 1,151 PAC student-athletes were recognized on the PAC Academic Honor Rolls (563 fall, 588 spring), 89 more than the league's previous all-time high of 1,062, established during the 2016-17 academic year. 

Saint Vincent College led the 10 league schools with 78 student-athletes earning PAC Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition. Chatham University was next with 73 and was followed by Grove City College (71) and Westminster College (71), Waynesburg University (69), Washington & Jefferson College (58), Thiel College (50), Bethany College (42), Thomas More College (39) and Geneva College (37).
