GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled for Thursday, February 22 at Youngstown State University’s Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS).

Field events will begin at 2 p.m. Track events will get underway at approximately 3 p.m.

Admission to all PAC Championship events is $5 for adults and $2 for students. There will also be a $5 parking fee for spectators.

This year’s PAC Championships will cap the league's fourth official season with indoor track and field as a championship sport.

At the conclusion of Thursday’s championships, the PAC will recognize its team champions, as well its Most Outstanding Performers (overall, track, field), Coaches of the Year and PAC Sportsmanship Team honorees.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled for Friday-Saturday, March 2-3 at The Armory in Manhattan, New York City. (ECAC standards)  

The NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held Friday-Saturday, March 9-10 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama. (Division III Qualifying Lists: Women | Men)

The Waynesburg University women claimed last year’s team title on Feb. 23, finishing with 146.50 points in the 16-event championship. 

Thomas More’s Christina Cook (Independence, Ky. | Simon Kenton) was named the league’s Most Outstanding Performer for the second-straight year. She was also named the PAC’s Most Outstanding Track Performer for the third-straight year. Cook won the 200 for the second-straight season with a PAC-record time of 25.74 seconds and won her third-straight indoor title in the 400 (58.59) for a third-straight year. She anchored the Saints’ winning 4x400 relay (4:11.61) for the second-straight season and also finished as the runner-up in the 60 (8.00).

Westminster’s Morgan Widina (Mayfield Heights, Ohio | Mayfield) was named the PAC’s Most Outstanding Field Performer. She finished as the runner-up in both the shot put (36-11.50) and weight throw (41-3).

The Thomas More College men captured last year’s team title, totaling 112.50 points in the 16-event championship.

W&J’s Harley Moyer (Akron, Ohio | Firestone) claimed PAC Most Outstanding Track performer honors while Thomas More’s Logan Winkler (Independence, Ky. | Simon Kenton) secured the PAC’s Most Outstanding Field performer award.

Moyer won the mile with a time of 4 minutes, 34.63 seconds, was the runner-up in the 3000 with a season-best time of 8:48.51, was third in the 5000 (15:49.10) and anchored W&J’s third-place distance medley relay (11:05.15).

Winkler won the high jump with a mark of 6 feet, 4.25 inches (1.94m) and was the runner-up in both the long jump (22-00.25, 6.71m) and triple jump (43-05.75, 13.25m).
