The 2016-17 PAC Championships feature a 72-hole stroke play event, with 36 holes contested at the Fall Championships and another 36 holes played at the Spring Championships. The combined 72-hole team total will determine this year’s PAC team champions and winners of the league's automatic qualifying bids to the 2017 NCAA Division III Championships.

The All-PAC teams, as well the PAC Players of the Year, will be determined by the combined 72-hole scores from the Fall and Spring Championships. Prior to the 2015 season, All-PAC and Player of the Year honors were determined exclusively at the 36-hole Spring Championships. The All-PAC teams will be made up of the top 15 overall scorers (5 first team, 5 second team, 5 honorable mention).
