Jones led Bethany to a 2-0 league record last week, averaging 16.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists. For the week, he knocked down 52.2 percent (12-of-23) of his field goal attempts and 50.0 percent (4-of-8) of his three-point shots. Jones paced the Bison with a 16-point, four-rebound, four-assist effort in Saturday’s 72-65 win over defending PAC champion Thomas More.

Evans averaged 9.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game last week as the Bearcats claimed a pair of PAC wins. The freshman guard used a 15-point, 10-rebound effort to record his first career double-double in a 77-62 win at W&J last Wednesday.

Also nominated: Thiel freshman G Alex Choloh, Thomas More first-year F Garren Bertsch, Waynesburg freshman G Matt Popeck and Westminster freshman G Isaac Stamatiades.

After starting the season 0-5 out of conference, the Bison went 2-0 last week with wins over Geneva and Thomas More ... Senior Calique Jones tallied 16 points and four rebounds in both wins ... Jones currently sits second in the PAC with 17.3 ppg. ... Senior Liam Davis dropped a career-high 22 points and added nine rebounds in the team's win over Thomas More.

Grove City's top-ranked defense held Chatham to 32 percent shooting from the field ... Wednesday night, Grove City limited host Waynesburg to 33 percent shooting but the Wolverines fell, 53-49 ... Burton is tied for fourth in the league with an average of 15.4 points per game ... The Thomas More men's basketball team went 1-1 this week, defeating Thiel, 76-53, at home and falling to Bethany, 72-65, on the road ... The Saints are now 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the PAC ... Ryne Callahan went 11-of-17 from the field last week ... Ralph Stone led the team in rebounds, grabbing 12 over the two games ... The Saints are back on the road to take on Manchester December 6 and return home on December 9 to host Chatham.
