GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – A record total of 532 student-athletes have been named to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll for the Fall 2016 semester.

The Fall 2016 total represents an 11.1 percent increase in honorees from the Fall 2015 honor roll, which featured 476 student-athletes.

The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition. 

Last year, a combined total of 939 PAC student-athletes were recognized on the PAC Academic Honor Rolls (476 fall, 463 spring), three more than the league’s previous all-time high of 936, established during the 2014-15 academic year.

Geneva College led the 10 full-time league schools and two affiliate institutions with 66 student-athletes earning PAC Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. Grove City College was next with 58, followed by Thomas More College (50) and Washington & Jefferson College (50), Saint Vincent College (49) and Waynesburg University (49), Thiel College (42), Carnegie Mellon University (40) and Westminster College (40), Bethany College (39), Chatham University (26) and Case Western Reserve University (23).
