Final results
GROVE CITY, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The Washington & Jefferson College women’s golf team wrapped up its second-straight Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) title Saturday after shooting a 356 in the event’s fourth and final round.
The two-round, 36-hole Spring Championships were hosted by the Grove City Country Club Friday and Saturday.
The 2015-16 PAC Championships feature a 72-hole stroke play event, with 36 holes contested at the Fall Championships and another 36 holes played at the Spring Championships. The combined 72-hole team determines the 2015-16 PAC team champions and winners of the league's men's and women's automatic qualifying bids to the 2016 NCAA Division III Championships.
The All-PAC teams, as well the PAC Players of the Year, are determined by the combined 72-hole scores from both the Fall and Spring Championships. Prior to the 2015 season, All-PAC and Player of the Year honors were determined exclusively at the 36-hole Spring Championships. The All-PAC teams are made up of the top 15 overall scorers (5 first team, 5 second team, 5 honorable mention).
W&J finished its four-round, 72-hole championship run with a team score of 1417. Thomas More College was second (1525), followed by Saint Vincent College in third (1539), Grove City College in fourth (1687), Thiel College in fifth (1896), Westminster College in sixth (1917) and Waynesburg University in seventh (2054).
