CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (pacathletics.org) – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) announced its 2015-16 All-PAC Women’s Basketball teams and yearly award winners between its championship tournament semifinal games Friday evening at top-seeded Thomas More College's Connor Convocation Center.

Thomas More senior guard/forward Sydney Moss (St. Albans, W.Va./Boone County (Ky.)) was voted the league’s Player of the Year for the third-straight season, while Washington & Jefferson College 12th-year head coach Jina DeRubbo was voted the conference’s Coach of the Year.

PAC Defensive Player of the Year honors went to Grove City College senior forward Kathryn Erbelding (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Olympia) for the second-straight season, while Thomas More freshman guard Madison Temple (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) collected the PAC’s Freshman of the Year award.

Geneva College and fifth-year head coach Lori Wynn were selected as the PAC's Team Sportsmanship Award winner for the fourth-straight season.

The all-conference teams, as well as the PAC's yearly award winners, are determined, by vote, of the conference's 10 head coaches.

Moss, just the second three-time winner of the league’s Player of the Year award (W&J’s Leigh (Sulkowski) Slowey in 2003, 2005, 2006), leads the PAC and ranks 13th among all NCAA Division III counterparts in scoring average (20.7 points per game), is second in Division III in made three-pointers per game (3.55) and assist-to-turnover ratio (4.7) and ranks eighth in Division III in assists per game (6.1). She also ranks 12th nationally in made three-pointers (71).

The PAC’s all-time women’s scorer with 2,541 points, Moss is Division III’s active leader in scoring, scoring average (20.8), field goals made (989) and field goals attempted (1,917), is tied for first in games played (122) and is second in assists (507).

Moss is just the sixth PAC women’s player to earn multiple Player of the Year awards, dating back to the league’s first full season in 1984-85.

DeRubbo helped W&J earn a spot in this year’s PAC Championship Tournament semifinal round for the fourth-straight season and has totaled 10 seasons with 20 or more wins since taking over the program in 2004-05. It is her sixth Coach of the Year award (four as the head coach at Bethany, two as the head coach at W&J).

Erbelding is second in the league in total steals (80) and steals per game (3.2). She is second in the circuit in rebounds per game (8.9), fourth in scoring average (15.1 points per game) and fifth in minutes played (30.2 minutes per game). Grove City is second in the PAC in scoring defense, allowing 61.4 points per game, and second in three-point field goal percentage defense, limiting opposition to just 27.9 percent shooting behind the three-point line.

Temple currently leads the PAC in field goal percentage (56.9%), three-point field goal percentage (47.4%), fifth in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.0) and 13th in scoring average (12.2 points per game).
