GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – Three-time defending league champion Saint Vincent College has earned the top seed and hosting rights throughout the 2015-16 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Basketball Championship Tournament, which will take place February 22-27.

The Bearcats and 13th-year head coach D.P. Harris will be looking to secure the program's fourth consecutive men's basketball title. Saint Vincent’s current three-year title run is the longest in the league since Washington & Jefferson College posted four-straight PAC championships from 1992-95. The Bearcats enter the championship tournament as the number one seed for the third time since 2012-13 (won title in 2014 as the number three seed).

Tournament action begins Monday with a pair of play-in games, which will feature 10th-seeded W&J traveling to seventh-seeded Westminster College and ninth-seeded Chatham University traveling to eighth-seeded Geneva College.

Tuesday’s quarterfinal round will have the lower-seeded winner from Monday’s play-in games traveling to top-seeded Saint Vincent, with the higher-seeded winner from the play-in games heading to second-seeded Grove City College. Tuesday’s remaining quarterfinal pairings will have sixth-seeded Thiel College traveling to third-seeded Bethany College, while fifth-seeded Waynesburg University will head to fourth-seeded Thomas More College.

In Thursday’s semifinal round, the tournament’s lowest remaining seed will travel to the highest remaining seed with the two remaining middle seeds meeting at the higher of the two.

Saturday's title game will be hosted by the higher seed remaining following Thursday's semifinals, with the start time scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Admission to all PAC Championship Tournament contests is $5 for adults and $2 for students, with students at PAC host institutions admitted for free with valid ID. Championship tournament programs will be on sale for $1.

The winner of the 2015-16 PAC Men's Basketball Championship Tournament receives the league's automatic qualifying bid to this year's NCAA Division III Championship Tournament, which gets underway March 3.
