(pacathletics.org) – The Westminster College men, fueled by wins in four of Saturday’s event finals, cruised to its second-straight Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Swimming & Diving title at Grove City College’s James E. Longnecker Competition Pool. Westminster, winners of seven conference titles (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2013, 2015, 2016), led the five-team PAC field with 757 points. Washington & Jefferson College finished second (550), Grove City finished third (536), Saint Vincent College fourth (516) and Bethany College fifth (224). W&J’s runner-up finish is the program’s highest since winning the title in 2000. The conference championships were held in conjunction with Grove City’s 26th annual James E. Longnecker Swimming and Diving Invitational and the 10th annual Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships. Longnecker Pool has been the home of the league’s swimming and diving championships since 1990.
