GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced its 2015 All-PAC Baseball teams and annual award winners Tuesday.

The All-PAC Baseball teams and award winners are determined by a vote of the league's nine head coaches.

Thomas More College junior designated hitter Donovan Pogue (Sharonville, Ohio / St. Xavier) was selected as the PAC Player of the Year, while Washington & Jefferson College sophomore Riley Groves (Louisville, Ohio / Louisville) and Waynesburg University junior Brian Resnik (Burgettstown, Pa. / Burgettstown) were selected as PAC Co-Pitchers of the Year.

W&J 13th-year head coach Jeff Mountain was named the PAC Coach of the Year, the sixth league coach of the year award of his career.

Pogue, the third Thomas More player to collect PAC Player of the Year honors, led the league in on-base percentage (.538), RBIs (54), runs scored (49) and walks (25) and tied for the top spot in home runs (7). He was second in the PAC in batting average (.450), slugging percentage (.678) and total bases (101), third in hits (67) and tied for fourth in doubles (13). On the NCAA’s most recent Division III national ranking (May 7), Pogue ranked ninth among on-base percentage leaders, 16th among RBI leaders and 17th among batting average leaders.

Groves’ 9-1 (.900 win percentage) overall record was tops in the league. In 10 starts (12 appearances) for the Presidents, the sophomore righty logged 62.1 innings with a PAC-best 1.59 earned-run average. He tossed four complete games and four shutouts (3 individual, 1 combined) on the season while limiting opposing hitters to a league-low .225 average. His nine victories ranked sixth on the most recent Division III national summary.

Resnik tied Groves for the league lead in wins, finishing the year 9-2 overall. In 12 appearances (11 starts) for the Yellow Jackets, the junior righty finished second among PAC leaders with 79.1 innings pitched and 78 strikeouts and third with a 2.38 earned-run average and a .241 opponents’ batting average. His six complete games tied him for second in the league, and 10th on the most recent national ranking, while his win total and strikeout total ranked sixth and 16th, respectively, among Division III leaders.
