PAC releases 2014 All-Conference football teams

GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its 2014 All-PAC football teams and yearly award winners Monday.

2014 PAC Offensive Player of the Year honors went to Thomas More College senior running back Domonique Hayden (Lexington, Ky./Lexington Christian Academy). The conference player of the award is Hayden’s third. He finished the regular season number one among NCAA Division III counterparts in rushing touchdowns (25), second in points scored per game (16.7), third in rushing yards per game (158.4) and sixth in rushing yards (1,426).

2014 PAC Defensive Player of the Year honors went to Bethany College junior defensive tackle Nadim Raddar (Laurel, Md./Old Mill). Raddar finished tied for second among Division III counterparts in total sacks (12.5) and sacks per game (1.25), tied for sixth in total tackles for loss (20.0) and tied for 14th in tackles for loss per game (2.0).

Thiel College freshman wide receiver Marcus Johnson (Pittsburgh, Pa./University Prep) was selected as the 2014 PAC Newcomer of the Year. His 827 receiving yards ranked third in the league, while his eight touchdown receptions tied him for fifth. He also ranked eighth in the conference in all-purpose yards per game (109.9).

2014 PAC Coach of the Year honors went to Washington & Jefferson College 12th-year head coach Mike Sirianni. This year’s coach of the year honor is Sirianni’s sixth.

Waynesburg University was selected as the 2014 PAC Team Sportsmanship Award winner.
