PAC Announces 2012-13 PAC Winter Team Sportsmanship Award Winners 3/12/2013 1:37:11 PM GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) announced its 2012-13 PAC Winter Team Sportsmanship Award winners Tuesday. The Grove City College men’s swimming and diving program and the Saint Vincent College women’s swimming and diving program were chosen by the league’s respective programs as this year’s Team Sportsmanship Award winners, while Geneva College was named the Team Sportsmanship Award winners in both men’s and women’s basketball. Thiel College was picked as the Sportsmanship Award winner in wrestling. The PAC Team Sportsmanship Award program was started during the 2008-09 sports season and is an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage positive sportsmanship among conference teams. The award is sponsored by the PAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), a group comprised of student-athletes from each member institution that assembles to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. This is the fifth year the PAC Team Sportsmanship Awards will be given out in each of the 19 PAC sponsored varsity sports. Each PAC team was asked to vote for the conference team in its sport which displayed the highest level of sportsmanship.
